1. There is only one God, the omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the eternal being, the beginning and the end, creator of all things who is love.
2. God is a holy trinity made up of the Father, the Son and the Spirit, three persons yet one God.
3. All humans are born into this world spiritually separated from God (sinners) as a result of the fall of man through Adam. Now, the offering of a perfect blood sacrifice is the only way for man to become one with God again (saint).
4. Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God and he came to earth to take on the form of a man being born of a virgin. He was fully God and fully man.
5. Jesus is the only way the only truth and the only life, there is no other way to God except through him, the Son.
6. Jesus lived a perfect sinless life; he died on a cross as that perfect sacrifice and was buried in a tomb where he resurrected on the third day.
7. Through his sacrifice Jesus offers us the gift of eternal life which reunites us with God and makes us one with him. Once accepted, a person’s identity is changed from sinner to saint. The gift can never be taken back or returned and the identity can never be changed to sinner again.
8. Since man does not have the ability to save himself from being separated from God for eternity (which requires faith and grace) God reaches out to each and every person and offers that salvation (gift of eternal life) by providing the faith and the grace through the shed blood of his Son Jesus. He gives us the choice to accept his gift of eternal life and be united with him for eternity or reject it and spend eternity separated from him.
9. One day Jesus will return and gather those who have accepted his gift of eternal life (referred to as the resurrection of the saints) to reign with him for eternity. Those who have rejected the gift will also be resurrected (referred to as the resurrection of the dead) and stand before God in judgement for their decision. They will be separated from God for eternity.
10. The bible is the inspired, inerrant Holy Scripture, the written truth of God spoken to men throughout history to help people understand God’s desire to spiritually become one with them again. The bible is the most recent revelation that God has given to man. There are no new revelations from God and there will not be new revelations until Christ returns. Understanding God’s will for one’s life, God’s purpose for one’s life and any other questions man has can be found in the pages of the bible.
